Quick Update
How I wish I could write a “real” blog posting right now but unfortunately my life is so busy that I only have time to shout, “I TOOK MY EXAMS” and “THEY’RE OVER!!”. Still no verdict from my graduate committee though. I’m trying not to obessess over it too much. It helps that I started my new job responsibilities this week with our compay. In case you haven’t head, I’ve transitioned completely out of marketing and I am now solely in charge of communications, HR, and running Bryan’s life. It’s actually quite a lot of fun. I’m working on some PR stuff, an employee handbook, and I have a couple of other projects up my sleeve. Still, there is so much work to be done and I am taking one class at the university which turned out to be far more difficult than I had anticipated. I’m learning to read and write Old English. I think I’m officially on my way to becoming an Anglo-Saxonist in the academic sense.
So that is me, in a nutshell. Life continues to speed by. Our Home Community is flourishing. My garden is growing in spite of me. We still have not finished our bathroom but thankfully my Grandmother gave me a bathrobe for my birthday so I have something to wear when dashing next door to shower. Plus, it’s been an absolutely beautiful fall here in the Pacific Northwest and I can’t seem to get over it. I love walking to the bus in the early am with the mist just beginning to burn off and the sun peeping out.
