Homework
Today has been dominated by schoolwork. So far I feel like I have accomplished hardly anything. I finally wrote a five page book review that felt like pulling teeth. Before that I had to read an embarrassingly silly and somewhat suggestive “bodice-ripper” as a project for the Romance literature class that I am currently in. I couldn’t help laughing at the “bedroom” scenes because far from being seductive, they were ridiculous and too absurd to believe. However, the author did her research and stayed faithful to the historical time period she was trying to portray. It isn’t easy to keep the 1060′s straight so I am pleased with her attempts with that….
